Bianca LaRue, Owner Nora Mental Health, Fort Worth, Texas

As the owner of Nora Mental Health, Fort Worth, Bianca is dedicated to making quality mental health care accessible to all. Bianca brings a strong passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to providing a compassionate, safe space for individuals seeking support.

Bianca was born and raised in South Africa, a place where mental health was a taboo subject. Her experiences both in South Africa and America have shaped her passion for helping people
in need. From her personal experiences with mental healthcare, she realized that there was a
major flaw in our system in America. It has been her lifelong dream to open a mental health clinic and help give access to people in her community that they need and deserve. This passion became a reality when she found Nora Mental Health. The vision that she had for helping people was in line with what Nora was looking to do and the impact they wanted to bring in communities across the country.

As a student working on her master's in professional counseling, Bianca brings strong leadership, strategic thinking, compassion & a self-care-focused approach to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and offers exceptional service to clients. Bianca works closely with a team of licensed mental health professionals to ensure that the clinic is staffed with highly qualified individuals who share the same values of care, empathy, and professionalism.

Driven by personal experiences and a strong belief in the importance of mental well-being, Bianca is committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and creating an environment that encourages open dialogue, healing, and growth. Bianca is deeply involved in community outreach, mental health education, and partnerships with organizations that promote emotional wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Bianca enjoys spending time with her husband & pug. She also enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures around the world and is passionate about finding new ways to advocate & support the broader mission of mental health awareness and accessibility.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Heather Hollinsworth

Healther Hollinsworth Fort Worth, Texas Therapist

I work with those 5 years and older who are dealing with life's transitions, stress, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, trauma, complex PTSD, PTSD, childhood trauma, neglect, compulsive buying disorder (CBD), personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder and narcissism, mood disorders, vicarious trauma, burnout/burnout syndrome, addictions, anger management, specific phobias, victims of abuse (domestic, narcissistic, physical, religious, emotional), gender identity, sexual identity, life adjustments, those living with HIV/AIDS and STD and other chronic health issues, overall life dissatisfaction, self-esteem, grief and grieving, depression, end-of-life counseling, and processing life changes.

I provide play therapy for kiddos 5-10 years old and activity therapy and talk therapy for pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. In session with me, you can expect me to incorporate alternative means of processing with traditional therapy. This includes body movement/somatic interventions, art therapy and expressive arts techniques, nature and ecotherapy, expressive arts, Jungian archetypal and existential approaches, and other alternative approaches as a means to aid in processing life experiences and support your healing journey. I also run DBT groups for those 25 and older who are living with borderline personality disorder or want to learn cognitive reframing and self-acceptance.

My admiration for various ways of expressing self and healing is used in tandem with empirical-based therapeutic models. I am trained and certified in DBT, CBT, EMDR,
hypnosis/meditation, and mindfulness interventions. I am trained and working on gaining my certifications in play therapy and sandtray therapy. I hope to one day obtain a PhD in Jungian Archetypal Depth Psychology and bring in curtain knowledge and education on these topics into sessions as needed.

I am kink-knowledgeable, LGBTQIIA+ friendly, extensively trauma-informed, experienced in working with victims of all forms of abuse, and educated in inner-child work and self-reparenting. I’m trained in cultural diversity and multi-race therapy, as well as providing anti-racism therapy to those wanting to unlearn racial biases/racism and racist attitudes. I'm all-body and/or fat accepting, HIV/AIDS and STD friendly, and knowledgeable in stress reduction. I’m effective in working with clients in cultivating coping skills and cognitive reframing that best fits each individual’s life demands and experience. I can happily provide psychoeducation and ‘homework’ for clients as needed or requested during sessions.

Whether you come in with a solution-focused drive, want to process your life experiences and understand yourself, or simply want to be seen and heard, it is my priority that you feel my genuine acceptance of you and my respect for your experience during our sessions. I pride myself on providing a space for you to have fluid self-expression without judgment and to freely speak your truth. I believe each living thing on this planet just wants to feel okay and deserves to be safe, especially when healing.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, reading, crocheting, spending time with my dog in nature, and anything ‘arts and crafts-y’. I have a passion for art, books, animals both feral and domesticated, and can usually be found making gifts for loved ones or fidget blankets for hospice homes across the country. My favorite quote is Maya Angelou’s, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with passion, compassion, some humor, and some style.”

I hope to see you in session, and if I’m not the therapist best suited for your needs, I truly hope that life treats you well and wish you all the best in your journey through life.
