Her work is rooted in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Stephanie holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas A&M-Commerce and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Her professional experience spans partial hospitalization, residential treatment, community mental health, substance abuse and medical settings.
She is particularly passionate about using ACT to help clients cultivate psychological flexibility—guiding them to acknowledge challenging emotions and thoughts while committing to actions aligned with their core values. This approach empowers individuals to face life’s difficulties with purpose and clarity, fostering a sense of meaning and well-being.
Stephanie specializes in working with preadolescents, adolescents, and adults navigating a variety of challenges, including:
• Depression & Anxiety
• Borderline Personality Disorder

• Tourette Syndrome & Tics
• Migraines & Epilepsy
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Chronic Stress & Postpartum Adjustment
For individuals managing Tourette syndrome and other tic disorders, Stephanie offers specialized treatment using Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). This evidence-based approach focuses on identifying and addressing the triggers of tics, teaching clients practical strategies to reduce tic severity and improve daily functioning.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. Stephanie aims to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their challenges and strengths, empowering them to achieve lasting change and improved mental health.
