After spending years in the mental health field and witnessing many holes in how traditional mental health facilities/practices operate, Dr. Cullen Hardy KNEW there had to be a better way and he set out to make a change.
Cullen believes the “old” way of delivering mental health services has lost its way. In many mental health practices across the country, clients are treated as just another number in the system. Cullen continues to work diligently on making sure client-centered practices become the norm throughout the mental health industry at large.
Dr. Hardy opened his first mental health clinic in 2018 and throughout the last 4 years he continued to open more clinics throughout Michigan. Dr. Hardy is now offering franchises across the country.

Our Core Values.
Our core values (C.A.R.I.N.G.) guide our beliefs, behaviors and how we interact with the world. Experience the Nora difference.
We are compassionate about the work we do every single day. The value of compassion enables us to understand ourselves better and others better. Compassion embodies a tangible expression of love for those who are suffering. From our outreach to the community, to every individual who seeks our services, to our amazing admin staff, we infuse Nora with compassion.
We accept everyone as they are, and welcome anyone seeking our services. We understand the uniqueness of individuals and accept where they are at in their lives. We believe everyone is worthy of our time and dedication. We do not require people to be of a certain caliber in order to receive the services they need to transform their lives.
At Nora Mental Health, we are proud to promote diversity and equality. Reaching out for help takes courage and it is our honor to adhere to the highest standards of acceptance and equality no matter what one’s age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective may be.
Innovation and excellence permeate everything we do. We do not offer a one size fits all approach and those who do are not appreciating your individuality. Our innovative approach is changing the way mental health is done and ensures that all of our clients get the right, personalized treatment for them. Innovation encourages curiosity and new ideas and spurs us to constantly strive to exceed expectations.
We have the overarching mission of not only reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness but eliminating it. We are normalizing therapy and mental health treatment because, let’s be honest, we ALL have bad days so we ALL can benefit from some professional help. It is because of our mission to normalize therapy that has led us to be one of the leaders in the mental health field.
We practice gratitude in everything we do. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with our clients and we are grateful they are entrusting us with their care. In therapy, we also utilize gratitude because those who practice and implement gratitude are proven to show a decrease in mental health symptoms. Gratitude only meets its greatest potential when we are grateful in all things. Not because we feel we should be, but simply because we have decided we will be…because we value it at our very core.
