Licensed Professional Counselor
Keyane Jackson

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've spent years carrying life's challenges on your own. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel safe being honest, vulnerable, and fully themselves without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and empowering, helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years working in education, where I witnessed firsthand the emotional and personal struggles many individuals face while balancing family responsibilities, relationships, stress, and life transitions. That experience inspired me to pursue counseling and dedicate my career to helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, relationship conflict, infidelity, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for helping couples who feel stuck in recurring cycles of conflict, emotional disconnection, communication breakdowns, or trust issues. My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) to meet each client's unique needs and goals.
Areas of focus include anxiety and overthinking, depression and emotional exhaustion, trauma and childhood wounds, emotional regulation challenges, relationship conflict, communication difficulties, infidelity and trust repair, self-esteem and identity development, stress management, burnout recovery, life transitions, adolescent and young adult concerns, couples counseling, marriage counseling, and women's mental health.
In our work together, you can expect a warm, conversational, and collaborative experience. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions and life experiences, while others may center on learning practical coping strategies, improving communication skills, exploring relationship dynamics, and identifying patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel both supported and challenged, creating opportunities for meaningful growth and lasting change.
I earned my Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in School Counseling from Angelo State University and have experience providing counseling services in both school and clinical settings. My background includes individual therapy, couples counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and telehealth services. I am passionate about helping clients feel more emotionally grounded, self-aware, and empowered as they work toward healthier relationships, improved emotional wellness, and a more fulfilling life.
At Nora Mental Health Mansfield, I am committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care that honors each person's unique journey. Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to create positive change in your life, I look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward healing and growth.

Shelly Richardson, LPC

My name is Shelly Richardson. I have a masters degree in School
Psychology and Applied Psychology along with the licensures of
Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Specialist in School
Psychology. I have been working within the public school system for
the past 21 years as a School Psychologist.
My many duties included
evaluating for both academic and emotional/behavioral disorders as
well as counseling with individual students and providing behavior
consultation/support to teachers, administrators, staff, and parents.
Prior to the school setting I spent time working with the local mental
health authority providing individual counseling, group counseling, and crisis screenings for those experiencing suicidal/homicidal ideations.
I enjoy working with all age groups and have found I particularly like
working with children and adolescents. I primarily focus on a Cognitive Behavioral approach in therapy which can be very helpful in treating anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. I also have experience working with Autistic populations as well including working with families to set up a system of support in the home environment.
